Playing and Enjoying Music for Over 50 years, I have a Passion for Guitars.

Early in 2020 I decided to learn and develop skills for setting up and repairing guitars, starting with my own. My love for playing was still there, but the feel and sound of my instruments was not always rewarding. I knew that not all guitars were created equal. Some play amazingly well and sound great. Mine are good quality, but had been somewhat neglected for a while. A good setup could fix a lot of this. I set up shop space, invested in some tools, studied books, videos, asked a lot of questions from people more experienced and got going. After a lot of work and some great results, all of my guitars became so fun, easy to play and sounded great. Then I went to the local pawn shop and found a couple of "throw away" guitars to practice my new skills on. They were improved much more than I expected by just giving them some of what I learned and some love including cosmetic work. I was not afraid anymore of messing up someone else's instrument.

So I reached out to my friends and offered to work on their guitars. I learned a lot more and really enjoyed doing it. They were happy to receive back an instrument that played and sounded so much better, and they had so much more fun playing it. A guitar that had sat in a corner or in a case in a closet for years was now back in their hands almost everyday. Making music.

So in 2021 I decided to reach out to the local community. To find more players that I could help. I was happy to get the chance to setup and/or repair many more instruments. Some were daily played guitars that needed adjustments. Some needed some repair work to get back in service. I was happy to do it and learned more as I went along.

I am now ready to reach out even further. To help more players. As many as I can. If you have a guitar that you are not satisfied with, contact me. We will work to make it the best it can be. It will play better, sound better and you will have a lot more fun.
